ENROLMENT OF CHILDREN
Applications for enrolment are accepted once a child turns 2 years of age.
ELIGIBILITY: Children are eligible to attend 4-5 year old Pre-School if they have turned 4 in the year preceding the year of pre-school attendance, or they will turn 4 by the 31st March in the year of attendance at Pre- School. Children are eligible to attend 3-4 year old Pre-School if they have turned 3 in the year preceding the year of pre-school attendance, or will turn 3 by the 31st March in the year of attendance.
PROCEDURE OF ENROLMENT:
- Enrolment application must be completed. When a parent/guardian is unable to come to the Centre, application may be taken over the phone. (02)60212050.
- Application details are placed on the computer in order of application date, and application form is filed alphabetically.
- All families who have requested enrolment for the following year will be sent a letter of Preference in the second week of August.
- Enrolment offers are sent out in the last week of Term 3 for the following year.
- An Enrolment Evening will be held in early November. This will detail the program, policy, pre-school management and general pre-school information.
- Orientation days will be held for all new children in late November.
- Parents are required to pay $20 enrolment levy (non refundable) upon enrolling their child and return all enrolment forms and departmental regulation forms and show immunization details
- Upon enrolment, parents will be given an information package about the centre and will be asked to read the policy booklet.
CHILDREN ENROLING have the choice of the following groups.
4 - 5 YEAR OLD CHILDREN (2011)
Monday - 8.45 a.m. - 2.45 p.m.
Mondays & Wednesdays - 8.45 a.m. - 2.45 p.m.
Tuesdays & Thursdays - 8.45 a.m. - 2.45 p.m.
3 - 4 YEAR OLD CHILDREN
Wednesday - 8.45 a.m. - 2.45 p.m.
Friday - 8.45 a.m. - 1.45 p.m.
BEFORE & AFTER PRESCHOOL CARE
is also available from 8.45 a.m. until 5.00p.m. Monday - Thursday.
